Our Christian Vision & Values
To live “life in all its fullness” through:
building knowledge and wisdom;
showing respect and treating everyone with dignity;
giving hope and raising aspirations;
encouraging a sense of community
to allow us to live well together as global citizens.
The thief comes only in order to steal, kill, and destroy. I have come in order that you might have life—life in all its fullness.
John 10:10 Good News Translation (GNT)
Created in consultation with our whole school community, the school vision emerged from us being able to answer these three simple questions.
Who are we?
Why are we here?
How then do we want to live?
Knowledge – Making sure ALL children within our school community have access to high quality learning so that they can make progress and achieve.
Wisdom – Using our knowledge to make positive and life enhancing decisions to live life in all its fullness.
Respect – Learning about and acceptance of all different faiths, beliefs, opinions and cultures.
Dignity – Ensuring that the opinions and concerns of everyone with a stake in the school are valued and taken seriously.
Hope and aspirations – To dream and wish for the best future with the confident expectation that with God’s help it will happen.
Community – We are proud to serve our local community and, through our work with St Peter’s and other agencies, to support our children and families in all aspects of their lives
Living as global citizens – Our children are encouraged to have an understanding of life across the globe and to courageously advocate for those less fortunate.
